It was great to have an opportunity on Sat night to teach Solid Rock to another packed house at our favourite brewery, the ‘Taproom’ at the ‘Mill’.
Always a joy to sing this great Australian anthem and doubly so to teach the Pitjatjantjara translation of the chorus. ‘Puli kunpungka…’. It’s a significant challenge for the crowd to get their tongues around this unfamiliar language but the reward of belting out a favourite song in an original Australian language never fails to change people forever.
